Who We Are?

Northwest Girls Softball (NWGS) was founded in 1995 by Sally Commerford to give girls in Las Vegas a chance to fall in love with softball. Today, NWGS is the largest softball league in Nevada with over 450 registered players in six age divisions. As a USA Softball recreational league, we focus solely on the growth and development of girls’ softball. Our league offers teams/experiences for players of all skill levels ages 4-18.

Our home fields are Majestic Softball Complex located near 215 and Cheyenne at the base of Lone Mountain. Majestic Softball Complex is the largest softball complex with 12 fields covering 17 acres of land. NWGS prides itself on providing players and families with the best fields in Las Vegas designed specifically for girls’ softball.

Northwest Girls Softball is run by a board of directors who volunteer their time to ensure a positive playing experience for all players and families. If you have any questions regarding NWGS please reach out to a board member.
